Crystal Lake

This adventure all started when Lance and I decided to make a quick drive into Grande Prairie . So we decided that we would bring Meekah with us for the ride, she enjoys being in the truck with Lance and I. But...

Our quick trip into town soon turned into being a delayed trip into town, we thought that we would take Meekah for a nice walk in an area of town called Crystal Lake. There wasn't anybody else around when we got there, so we went out on the dock area and took Meekah's leash off. She was so excited running up and down the dock. I picked her up so she would stop being distracted and see the ducks. Even more excited now that she seen ducks for the first time running all around and jumping being the playful puppy that she is.
Lance and I started to walk down to the lower part of the dock, which is not fenced all around like the upper part is. Well Meekah came running by my feet at full throttle and as she came up to the end of the dock she realized that there was nothing to stop her. She went flying off the dock right into the water! I started laughing and Lance went running to her, she was in the water and had nowhere to go. She wouldn't have been able to swim to shore too many weeds and stuff and she couldn't get up on the dock again. Lance got on his stomach on the dock and reached as far has he could calling Meekah to him. He finally got her, pulled her up and they were both soaked and it was cold. It was so cute and so funny, I laughed for awhile about it and told Lance to go put a sweatshirt on that we behind the seat of the truck(I'm always prepare with extra clothes in my truck). We decided to go back home after that with Meekah wrapped up in Lance shirt to keep her warm .
