Just not my day I guess

Ever heard the phrase, "got up on the wrong side of the bed"?
Not sure what planet your from if you haven't...

I got up on the same side of the bed as I always do, but it was at an abnormal time this time. Therefor I really wasn't wake until after we dropped Lance off work, and went to Tina's house to watch the kiddies. You would think that the fact that a guy bumped into the back of our vehicle in the Tim Horton's drive through line would have fully woke me up, but sadly no.... guess the guy behind us wasn't awake either! Eight o'clock in the morning and already been from one side or town to the other and got in a fender bender, what a morning this is starting out to be!

I safely made it through the rest of the morning, now it was time to make Aden some lunch. He wanted some meatballs today, awesome I thought, I got some still frozen in the freezer for just this occasion. I take them out of the freezer and add a little bit of hot water to the mix and take the lid off to just quickly pop them in the microwave. Took me a few seconds to figure out how to use the microwave, see how it is a new one. I walked away to help Aden wash up for dinner, POOF!! What was that Mommy??
I ran to see, the meats had exploded, ALL of them... ALL over the inside of the microwave...
GROSS!!!!!!
Needless to say the microwave and I, well ... we're not so "new" to each other anymore. I've been all over it.

Now after lunch, Aden had nap time. I decided to day to use this time to have a quick shower. I turned the shower on and the phone rang. So I quickly ran out to answer it. It was the mom of Aden's play date tomorrow asking some question and see how I was doing. I heard the shower head drop from its holder and didn't think much of it. The curtain is closed, I am almost done on the phone and I didn't want to be rude walking into the bathroom with running water going and not be able to hear.
So I finished my phone conversation to come back to the bathroom filling up with WATER!!! It had already started to get the carpet in the hallway. Six towels, one sheet and steamer cleaner later andit was all cleaned. So I called the hubby to tell him what happened and he says to go down stairs and see if it caused and damage. I go to the basement and start looking around, I could see water on the floor but could not find where it was leaking through on the roof. I got closer inside to investigate and of course the moment I get in close to look all the water the must have been sitting and slowly leaking out decides to all come out at once now... right ontop of my head!!

I swear someone somewhere was funning at me today.

Let's Jump Down Under

I wanna move, not only do I want to move, but I want to leave the country!! Go somewhere new, have an advantage.

My hubby and I are looking into possibly moving across the globe to Australia.
Summer is Winter, Christmas in Summer, driving on the other side of the road.

If anyone has any info or insight for us it would be muchly appreciated :)

What goes up, must come DOWN!

I is feeling oh so sad today. I am trying to shake this feeling of sadness and disappointment, but I just can't seem to.

In everyone's life there is happiness and there is sorrow. It is the balance of life. At this moment in my life there seems to be more sorrow in my heart then happiness. Don't get me wrong I have a great family and awesome friends, but it can't seem to fill this void I have. I do not know what to do about it, it slowly seems to to be eating away at me. I try and keep busy, but it always seems to catch up with me.
Tomorrow is another day and lets just hope its better then this one is for me.

Finding my way back to blogger

I know I have been MIA for a very long time, but I think it is time to come back to the blogging world. There are many things that have changed in my life and sometimes I need a place to run away to with my thoughts and let them out. That place has always been my blog for me.

So over then next week or so I am going to be doin some updating of this old blog... spring cleaning in the summer I guess....

Hope everyone will like the changes that will happen and I look forward it catching up with all the blogs I used to read.

OH! Before I forget, my hubby Mr.Lance also is back at Solitary Views, don't forget to swing by there too!

Today my Tigger glass met with it's untimely demise from the hands of a 23 month old. The glass did not see it coming, it was on the far back corner of the end table, who would have thought this glass would draw so much attention while just having juice in it. I still have not brought myself to through the pieces away yet. People might laugh and call me silly, but those of you who know understand. This is my favorite glass, I've had it for years and it has made it through 5 moves. It was a sad sad morning today. Goodbye to my Tigger glass and with that good bye here are some Tigger facts.

Tigger Song

The most wonderful thing about Tiggers,
is Tiggers are wonderful things.
Their tops are made out of rubber,
their bottoms are made out of springs.
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is,
I'm the only one.
Oh, III'm the only one!
Oh, the wonderful thing about Tiggers is,
Tiggers are wonderful chaps.
They're loaded with vim and vigor.
They love to leap in your lap.
They're jumpy, bumpy, clumpy, thumpy,
Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is ...
I'm the only one!
