It's almost a month since i was last able to blog and so much has happened in my life.


1.I got engaged on Canada Day(July 1st)!
Lance got down on one knee and popped the question out at the farm with family and friends all around and of course i said YES!! We're getting married June 28/08. So excited!

2.Moved out of town.
We decided to move the 15 min drive out of Grande Prairie to Wembley. Its nice out here and not far from "town". Took us 3 weeks to get internet out here. Lance is very happy out here and i'm getting used to not having everything a block or so away from me. I'm taking longer to adjust then Lance but i think we'll both be happy out here.


3.Got a puppy!
Her name is Meekah. She is just about 5 months old. She is a Shepard X. Very playful and curious, that loves shoes!! I call her Meekah Trouble Riley! She gave me the biggest scare ever last week, I took her into town with me so that she wouldn't be home alone and i was goin' to Tina's house and figured she could play in the backyard. I put her in the fenced backyard(where by the way there is mega toys that any teething puppy would love to chew on) and went into the house and came back out 20 mins later to check on her only to find that she had DUG UNDER THE FENCE!!! I called Lance at work just bawling my eyes out, him and his mom came and helped me look for her but, no luck. She was found 3 days later sleeping on a couples front lawn as they set up for a yard sale! I was so happy when she got back home.


4. Got a kitten!
Her name is Gizmo. She is 7 weeks old. She can still curl up in your hand she's that small. Her favorite thing to do it hop across the room and jump at your leg and crawl her up your body. Gizmo hides away mid afternoon and sleeps the rest of the day away until Lance, Meekah and I decide its bedtime then its Gizmo's playtime and she likes to get Meekah goin'! Even though Gizmo is still small she gets her point across to us, if she wants me to wake up in the morning she crawls up to me and gets all snuggled in by my head and then starts to bit my eyebrow ring until i get up with her! She is so a Mommy's girl! Gets Meekah chasing her around the house and then runs and hides behind me and then makes her swing at Meekah's nose... it's so cute!


5. Got a new job!
No more kitchens for me at the moment, I'm trying out the retail industry , selling clothes. It seems ok. Slower then the pase I'm used it so sometimes seems boring, but it's a change. I'll try it for away and see how it goes....

Well that about sums up the major changes in my life since last time i wrote.
